TheVIT launches new meeting place for busy leaders: The Leadership Perspective.

In a busy day-to-day life, managers have few opportunities to raise their sights and reflect on the "bigger" issues that affect society and business. With this as a backdrop, TheVIT is launching "The Leadership Perspective", an arena where leaders can gather and where there is room for insight, inspiration and reflection.

Purpose

The purpose is to offer an arena where insight, inspiration and reflection are at the center. The leadership perspective will shed light on current and relevant topics - all to help leaders see the whole picture. Through a strong focus on collaboration and exchange of experiences, TheVIT facilitates discussions that can lead to lasting value-creating solutions for Norwegian businesses.

First Lederperspektivet - Thursday, April 24, 2025

The first Lederperspektivet will be held on Thursday, April 24 at Nationaltheatret Konferansesenter. Here we will shed light on:

  • A holistic perspective on value creation in a business and the role of a Chief Value Officer. Lars Løddesøl, CFO of Storebrand, challenges the traditional view of the CFO role and explains why he prefers to refer to himself as CVO.
  • A geopolitical perspective based on how geography influences politicians' decisions. Erik Mamelund, special advisor to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and former senior manager at EY, gives us the big picture based on his book "Geografiens makt".
  • A holistic perspective on corporate governance. Stein-Ragnar Noreng, CEO of TheVIT talks about the connection between strategy, technology and people.
